FDIC Meetup in Indy

Travel 4 hours alone to meet a bunch of strangers I only know online ???? So totally not something I would normally do but, the dynamic duo that makes up FFNetcast was gonna be there and I just couldn't pass up that chance no matter what the anxiety level.

Anxiety is very much a part of my life the last 10 years or so and those of you that know me well know this is so not in my realm of comfort but I wanted so badly to meet FFNetcast crew and any of the other bloggers that I talk to daily on twitter .

So I talk my daughter and cousin into goin along , Rhett and Johm, ( the dynamic FFNetcast duo ) promised to look out for me and give me a hand if I needed anything while I was there so, we packed, we booked a room and started out on our road trip :)

Dresses to party , off we went to The Rock Bottom Brewery 

I found Rhett and introduced myself to him and from there it just spiraled. OMG these were big time bloggers and important ppl in the fire/ems world and here I was hanging out and having my picture taken with them. I was treated as one of them from the moment I said Hi I'm Shell.

Ckemtp, ThehappyMedic,Chiefreason, Tiger, Firecritic, firedaily, epi_junky, firecap5 ....... all my blogger friends from twitter and me. I blog but mostly just about my life lol , I'm no longer part of fire or ems though I continue to support them both in any small way that I can, and these folks just acted like I was one of their family. 

John and Rhett was all that I imagined they would be and only confirmed that I shall always be FFNetcast's biggest fan :). These 2 are the most amazing men around.

The rest were and are amazimg ppl as well. I proudly wore my EMS 2.0 pin which thehappymedic spotted at once :D

I hate to leave anyone out as I was introduced to sooooooooo many while I was there. Editors of magazines, Owners of companies, People that were acknowledged in text booksd I used way back when .........

This small town girl was truly in awe and proudly have displayed pics with me and all these wonderful ppl.... and you are all wonderful and awesome 

I'm sure I've bored everyone that will listen to death about my trip to the FDIC meetup but I don't care. In my world this is a HUGE think and I'm so glad that I jumped out of my comfort zone to go.

THANK YOU ALL for makin it such a wonderful experience , I will make more of these as distance and finances allow.
